Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha crossed 400 on Sunday as 424 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 298 cases on Saturday, 228 cases on Friday, 225 cases on Thursday, 221 cases on Wednesday, and 156 cases on Tuesday.
According to the I & PR department, 249 of the new infections are from quarantine and 175 local contacts. Among them, 67 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 177 new cases followed by Cuttack (45) and Sundargarh (38). Ten districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 61,652 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.68%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,55,556, Odisha now has 2,078 active cases.
