Mumbai: Almost the entire film industry had rushed to pay their last respects to former NCP leader and a dear friend Baba Siddique. Shah Rukh Khan was a notable exclusion.
According to a source, Shah Rukh avoided expressing his condolence to the family because he wanted to keep a distance from the politician’s murder and the Salman-Bishnoi feud.
“Shah Rukh Khan does not want to get involved in any discussions about the murder or politics. With the risks linked to the gang, he chose to avoid the funeral to keep himself safe,” Times Now quoted the source as saying.
Now, an old photo of Shah Rukh being honoured by the Bishnois has gone viral and fans of Salman feel that King Khan avoided the funeral of Siddique because of his good relations with the Bishnois.

“Now we know why he missed Baba’s funeral — he’s part of the group and doesn’t want to upset his ‘father’ Bishnoi. But sadly for him, Salman Khan stands firm, because when someone has no one, Salman will always be there,” commented one user.
“This means he’s directly involved in Baba’s death,” alleged another person.
“Salman was the one who saved his career. When his son (Aryan Khan) went to jail, Salman was the first person to visit him. The first person who slapped him was Salman, and the first person to put him in his place was also Salman,” wrote a Salman fan.
The viral picture of SRK with the Bishnoi community was clicked in 2017, when the actor was in Rajasthan to promote ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal.’
On Saturday, members of the Bishnoi community burnt effigies of Salman and his father Salim Khan in Jodhpur, and demanded an apology from the actor for killing their sacred blackbuck.
Despite safety concerns, Salman had rushed to Lilavati hospital on hearing the news of his dear friend Baba Siddique’s demise.
Salman and his family also went to Siddique’s house to pay their last respects and offer condolences to the family.
However, SRK neither visited Siddique’s house nor posted any condolence message on social media. He has been extremely tight-lipped on the Siddique murder case.
Siddique had played an important role in bringing together friend-turned-foes Salman and Shah Rukh.
At an Iftar party hosted by Siddique in 2013, Salman and Shah Rukh had hugged and made peace with each other after 5 years of bitterness.
Siddique was murdered on October 12 outside his son’s office. Hours after the murder, Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing.
