New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has recovered from the coronavirus and is likely to be discharged soon, officials at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said on Saturday.
“Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister is admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi, for post-COVID care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time,” chairperson of AIIMS’ media and protocol division Dr Aarti Vij said.
The 55-year-old BJP leader had tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2. He tested negative on August 14 but was admitted to AIIMS on August 18 again as he complained of fatigue and body aches.
