Puri/Bhubaneswar: BJP National President Amit Shah will arrive in Odisha to attend the party’s three-day national executive committee meeting of the Mahila Morcha In Puri beginning Monday.
Talking to mediapersons in Bhubaneswar, BJP state president Basanta Panda said that Shah after arriving at the Biju Patnaik International Airport will leave for Puri to attend the party’s national executive committee meeting of the Mahila Morcha at Saradhabali.
In view of the visit of Amit Shah, thousands of party posters have been put up on both sides of the road between Bhubaneswar and Puri.
Meanwhile, executive members of the BJP Mahila Morcha have arrived in Puri. About 200 executive members of the Mahila Morcha will attend the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the state BJP Mahila Morcha had taken out a rally in Puri on Sunday.
Talking to mediapersons, president of the state BJP Mahila Morcha Pravati Parida said that the that keeping his ‘Mission 120+’ firmly in sight, Amit Shah will formulate the strategy with the Mahila Morcha activists to strengthen the party base in the state ahead of the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections scheduled next year.
