Bhubaneswar: NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant called Sudarsan Pattnaik legendary in a tweet in which he also shared a picture with the internationally acclaimed sand artist’s work on ‘Save the Elephant’ at Bhubaneswar International Airport on Saturday.
He tweeted: “During my visit to Bhubaneswar I got the unique opportunity to get a pic taken against the backdrop of the masterpiece sand art “Save the Elephant” by legendary artists @sudarsansand. The sand art work in its true beauty is to the right. It’s incredible!

Kant was in Bhubaneswar for a meeting with the Odisha government. He said NITI Aayog has decided to work in partnership with the Odisha government and it would mainly focus on development of health, education, agriculture and skill development sectors in Odisha.
“We are working under a federal structure. Our prime objective is to integrate the central government schemes with that of the state government. We are also working out a plan on how to implement these converged schemes under the Aspirational District Initiative as we want Odisha to be the leading state in the implementation of this programme,” he said after a meeting with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here.
