Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will review the Centre’s proposal for conducting annual Plus II examinations after the cyclone, said School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Sunday.
Briefing the media here after a virtual meeting with the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, he said the Centre has given two proposals for the conduct of annual Plus II examinations.
“The Centre has proposed the states to conduct the examinations after improvement in the COVID-19 pandemic and the other proposal is to allow the students to appear in one language and three elective subjects only within 90 minutes instead of three hours. As the state government is now taking all precautionary measures against the ensuing cyclonic storm, it will review the two proposals and send its opinion to the Centre after the impact of the cyclone recedes,” the Minister added.
