Berhampur: Another member of Ganjam Bar Association (GBA) succumbed to COVID-19 in the district on Tuesday.
According to bar association sources, advocate R Harinath of Teli Sahi Gate Bazar succumbed to COVID-19 at Tata COVID Hospital, Sitalapalli. He is the second advocate after Swapna Ranjan Panigrahi to have died of the disease within a span of one and a half months.
Earlier, six advocates in Ganjam district tested positive and recovered subsequently. Now, one member of the GBA is still under treatment at SUM Hospital Bhubaneswar.
