New Delhi: Less than two months after an Indian student of Purdue University was killed in the United States, another student of Indian origin, studying in Boston University, met with the same fate.
Paruchuri Abhijit, whose body was found inside a car in forest area, was killed by unidentified assailants who took his money and laptop.
The only son of Paruchuri Chakradhar and Srilakshmi, hailing from Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, was pursuing Engineering course in Boston University. His body has been sent home.
This is the third incident of killing of Indian students in the US this year.
In January, Neel Acharya, a student of John Martinson Honours College of Purdue University, was found dead by Tippecanoe County Coroner’s office. He was a double major in Computer Science and Data Science.
A few days before Acharya’s killing, MBA graduate Vivek Saini was killed savagely by a homeless drug addict, Julian Faulkner, whom he had helped earlier. Saini worked as a part-time clerk at the convenience store that gave shelter to Faulkner. The brutal incident was captured on camera.
