Berhampur: The crimes against girl child continue to rise in the Odisha with a fresh case reported from Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district on Wednesday.
As per sources, a 10-year-old girl has allegedly been gang-raped in a village under the Berhampur Sadar police limits .
Three accused, all juveniles, have reportedly been detained by police for questioning.

The three juveniles belong to the same village of the victim girl, police sources said.
As per sources, the minor girl’s parents are daily wagers and had gone to Berhampur when the three boys entered the house and gang-raped the girl.
The girl narrated her ordeal to her parents when they returned in the evening and a complaint was lodged with local police.
Investigation is on to ascertain their role and uncover the whole incident.
