The valedictory ceremony of the three-day AR/VR Conclave and Hackathon at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar ended on a grand note on Sunday. Chief guest Subroto Bagchi, gave an interesting talk and encouraged participants to take up activities in the field of AR/VR.
The conclave and hackathon were conducted in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and Government of Odisha.
“I would like to congratulate all the participating institutions and teams for the enthusiasm and innovation they showcased. The conclave and hackathon were conceptualised to encourage creativity and technology development among engineering students across country in AR/VR,” said Professor V Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar, who presided over the ceremony.
The valedictory ceremony was followed by an award distribution by the guest of honour Susmita Bagchi. The two best teams, winners of the AR/VR Conclave and Hackathon, who got a cash award of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 were Learn-O-Little team and AR Hub, respectively.
