Archana Puran Singh Reacts On Being Compared To Nawazuddin Siddique’s Look In ‘Haddi’

Mumbai: A day after Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared the first look of his upcoming film ‘Haddi’ on social media, netizens on Wednesday started drawing parallels with actress Archana Puran Singh by pointing out a similarity.

The actor was seen wearing a woman’s outfit and exhibiting his glitzy, unique avatar. He was almost unrecognizable in the grey gown with long hair and makeup.

“It’s the hairstyle which has become synonymous with me that is causing all these comparisons. I’ve used this side-parted look during the early part of Kapil show (The Kapil Sharma Show.)” Archana Puran Singh told HT.

“All I can say is it’s a huge compliment to be compared to Nawaz in any way possible,” she added.

While one Twitter user wrote, “Ab pata chala ki ye dono kumbh me bichde bhai behen the… Siddhu ji ke ab do dushman.”  Another Twitter user wrote, “Archana Puran Singh ka sauteli behan. Tbh Nawaz sir is fabulous.”

Siddiqui’s upcoming movie ‘Haddi’ is a noir revenge drama produced by Zee Studios, Anandita Studios (Raadhika Nanda, Sanjay Saha), and directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma. It’s co-written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla. The movie will be shot in areas around Western UP, including Noida and Ghaziabad and will release in 2023.
