Bhubaneswar: Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi is scheduled to embark on a three-day visit to Odisha from March 27.
According to the itinerary, General Dwivedi will arrive in Bhubanesawar on March 27 and proceed to the 120 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), where he will spend the night. On March 28, he will travel to Puri in the morning and stay at Sainik Sadan. He is expected to offer prayers at Shree Jagannath Temple during his stay in the Pilgrim Town. Later that day, he will proceed to Army Air Defence College (AADC) in Gopalpur via the Talabania helipad. While at Gopalpur, the Army Chief will inspect the training facilities, attend operational briefings, and interact with officers and veterans. His schedule also includes a live firing demonstration and equipment display at a field firing range.
General Dwivedi is set to wrap up his visit and return to New Delhi on March 29.
