Aryan Khan Case: NCB Approaches MEA To Help Trace Foreign Drug Peddler
Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is tightening the noose around Aryan Khan. The agency has approached Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to help trace the foreign drug peddler who surfaced in Aryan’s WhatsApp conversations.
“Hard drugs, bulk… Can’t be for personal consumption. We have approached the MEA to find how we can find this foreign national,” Additional Solicitor General of India Anil Kumar Singh told the Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court during Aryan’s bail plea hearing on Wednesday.
The hearing was adjourned and will resume on Thursday.
Aryan was among those arrested following NCB’s raid on a rave party aboard a cruise ship. The 23-year-old son of Shah Rukh Khan was on Monday sent to 14-day judicial custody.
“Aryan has a role in so far as illicit procurement and distribution of contraband is concerned,” NCB had said earlier.

Though senior advocate Amit Desai, representing Aryan, said that nothing was recovered from him, NCB strongly opposed the bail plea as primary investigation of the agency has revealed that he is part of the drugs nexus.
Two Nigerians are among 20 people who have been arrested so far in the rave party cruise drugs case.
