Bengaluru: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owners Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla were not present at the IPL Auction 2022 here on Saturday. It was their kids who sat on the KKR table as the 10 teams got about the business of forming their teams for the upcoming 15th edition of the cash-rich T20 league.
Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan were joined by Jahnavi Chawla at the Bengaluru hotel where hectic bidding for star players started at noon.
While this is Suhana’s first IPL auction, Aryan had represented his father Shah Rukh at last year’s auction as well.

Aryan’s presence on auction day was significant as it was the first public appearance of Shah Rukh’s son since he received bail following his arrest in the drugs-on-cruise case last October.
The star kids, who also attended the pre-auction event on Friday, did their homework before the auction got underway.
Shah Rukh’s children and Juhi Chawla’s daughter had a session with CEO Venky Mysore to understand the strategies which the KKR team management adopted with an eye on building a strong team.
KKR tweeted images of Aryan, Suhana and Jahnavi taking a ‘crash course’ on IPL auction strategies.
They got off to a flying start as KKR roped in Shreyas Iyer, a player in high demand, for Rs 12.25 crore.
