Jaipur: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been admitted to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 and swine flu.
Doctors advised the senior Congress leader, who was down with fever for the last few days, to get tested.
The 72-year-old Gehlot was admitted to hospital with low oxygen saturation as he was found to have contracted both viral infections, PTI quoted a doctor at SMS Hospital as saying.
He is on oxygen support but his condition is stable, the doctor informed.
Sharing the news on social media platform X, Gehlot advised people to take care of their health in this changing season.
Gehlot had contracted COVID during the second wave of the pandemic, in 2021.
