Bhubaneswar: In the wake of a brutal attack on Parbinder Pal Singh, BJP leader Jagannath Pradhan on Thursday lodged a complaint against the BJD MLA Anant Jena and DSP Anup Kanungo at the Laxmisagar police station.
Singh was attacked by three persons following an altercation over car parking at Bhagwan Tower on Cuttack Road at Jharpada here on Tuesday.
Briefing mediapersons here, Pradhan said he has demanded action against Jena and the DSP for threatening Singh and his family after going to his apartment late on Wednesday night.
Notably, the commissionerate police had dismissed PCR van in-charge Subhash Chandra Rout from the service and arrested three accused Deepak Jena, son of a former BMC corporator, and his two associates Sankar Rout and Deepak Mohanty. However, the three accused were released on bail at night by the court.
