New Delhi: Turbulence had hit an Air India flight from Phuket to Delhi on Tuesday, leaving some crew members injured. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu shared details about the incident.
Flight AI2379 witnessed a sudden loss of around 300 feet in altitude, while it was cruising on Tuesday. It was carrying 137 passengers and 8 crew members. It landed safely at Delhi airport at 11.07 am.
The minister stated that the turbulence lasted around four to five minutes. He lauded the cabin crew for assisting passengers, despite suffering injuries.
