Mumbai: Celebrity couple, actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, are all set to embrace parenthood after 3 years of marriage.
Sharing the good news with fans and well-wishers, the couple took to their Instagram handle and posted, “Baby on the way” with their names, Patralekhaa & Rajkummar written below it.
Rajkummar captioned the post as: “Elated ❤️❤️”
Rajkummar and Patralekha first met over a decade ago, and their bond grew stronger with time. The couple fell for each other while working together in the film ‘CityLights’ in 2014.
In October 2021, Rajkummar proposed to Patralekhaa and a month later, the couple tied the knot on November 15 in Chandigarh. Their wedding was an intimate affair with only close friends and family members on the guest list.
While sharing how his wife never makes him feel lonely, Rajkummar said, “You can feel very lonely in this city, especially when you come from outside to become an actor. But I was so blessed that I found Patralekhaa at the beginning of my career in 2010 when we met for the first time. And it’s been 15 years, 11 years of dating, and 3 years of marriage. She’s always kept me grounded and has been my biggest strength.”
On the work front, Rajkummar will be soon seen playing a ruthless gangster in ‘Maalik’, which is slated to release on July 11.
Directed by Pulkit, the film, which also stars Manushi Chhillar, revolves around the world of power, politics, and betrayal, set in Allahabad.
Patralekhaa, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Phule.’
