Bangladesh National Porn Star Arrested For Staying Illegally In India

New Delhi: The Maharashtra Police have arrested adult star Riya Barde on charges of illegally staying in India. According to the charges against the porn star, she is a resident of Bangladesh and has been staying in India with her family based on forged documents. The police were also on the lookout for her mother, sister, brother, and father in the case.

Riya Barde, popularly known as Arohi Barde and Banna Sheikh, in the adult industry, was arrested from Ulhasnagar in the state, News18 reported.

A case against her was registered under Sections 420, 465, 468, 479, 34, and 14A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Her friend Prashant Mishra blew the lid when he told the police that Riya was illegally staying in India. Upon his complaint, the police investigated the case and examined her documents.

According to the details, Riya Barde’s mother originally hails from Bangladesh but had married Arvind Barde (Riya’s father), who belonged to Maharashtra’s Amravati. Thereafter, she presented forged documents to prove her nationality as Indian. Her family members were identified as Anjali Barde alias Ruby Sheikh (mother), Arvind Barde (father), Ravindra alias Riyaz Sheikh (brother), and Ritu alias Moni Sheikh (sister).

Her parents are presently reported to be in Qatar, the report added.

The police said they had earlier too arrested Riya Barde in connection with a case related to prostitution.
