Berhampur Marital Discord: Orissa HC Notice To Tapaswini For Trespassing
Berhampur: The Orissa High Court has asked Tapaswini to place her arguments in much-hyped marital dispute case.
The High Court, which was hearing a petition filed by Dr Sumit’s father Pramod Sahu, also issued notice for making Tapaswini Dash and her father parties in the matter pertaining to alleged police inaction on women trespassing into Dr Sumit Sahu’s house in Berhampur.
Pramod Sahu had alleged inaction by Baidanathpur police against local women who had forced their entry into his house by breaking open the lock of the main gate during the protest by Tapaswini.
The High Court has fixed the next hearing for February 8 and directed Tapaswini as well as her father to submit their arguments before the court.
It may be mentioned that over 20 women had entered the house of Dr Sumit by breaking open the main grill on December 20. Though Pramod filed an FIR at Baidanathpur police station in this regard, no action was reportedly taken.
