Bhadrak Reports First COVID Death, Odisha Toll Crosses 50
Bhubaneswar: Coronavirus claimed four more lives in Odisha, taking the death toll to 52 on Thursday.
Three deaths were reported from Ganjam and one from Bhadrak, a new addition to Odisha’s corona death map.
Details of the deceased:
1. A 65-year-old woman of Ganjam district. She was also suffering from diabetes and hypertension.
2. A 58-year-old man of Ganjam district. He was also suffering from tubercular meningitis.
3. A 63-year-old man of Ganjam district. He was also suffering from diabetes.
4. A 58-year-old man of Bhadrak district. He was also suffering from diabetes and a chronic kidney disease.
With the new deaths reported on Thursday, Ganjam’s toll rose to 30.
with these new cases, death cases in Khurda district rose to nine.
The virus had earlier claimed nine lives in Khurda, five in Cuttack and one each in Puri, Angul, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Gajapati and Bargarh districts.
