Jajpur: ‘Bharat Gaurav Train’, a special train carrying devotees to different Shakti shrines in the country, reached Jajpur-Keonjhar Road railway station in Odisha on Tuesday.
The theme-based train on tourist circuit titled “Divya Kasi – Aadi Amavasya Yatra” left Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on July 23. The train towards Kashi will cover religious destinations of Pithampura, Puri, Konark, Jajpur, Kasi, Gaya, Prayagraj and Vijayawada on its way.
Among Shakti shrines in Odisha, tourists can visit Bimala Temple at Puri and Biraja Temple in Jajpur apart from Sun Temple at Konark.
The concept of Bharat Gaurav Train is to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage and historical places. This is a Travel Times initiative in partnership with Indian Railways under Bharat Gaurav Train Policy.
