Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik International Airport here is all set to resume operations from May 25 as per the guidelines of the central government.
“The schedule of domestic flights that will be functional initially will be released this evening,” Airport Director, VV Rao told the media.
Amid coronavirus pandemic, the airport will be made touch-free following the SOP released by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for airline passengers, who will be boarding the flights from Monday (May 25) onwards.
According to the guidelines, trolleys for carrying luggage will not be allowed at the airports. All the passengers will have to undergo thermal screening before entering the airport premises. They have to reach the airport two hours before the scheduled departure of a flight.
Aarogya Setu App and face masks are mandatory for every passenger, the guidelines added.
