Angul: A doctor working at the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar was crushed under the wheels of a train at Boinda railway station in Angul district on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Dr KP Samal.
The mishap occurred when the doctor was trying to board Sainagar-Puri Express at Boinda station at 5 pm for Bhubaneswar. The train staring moving as he was boarding it, following which he slipped and fell on the tracks. Th train ran over him leading to his death on the spot, sources said.
