Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has put in place specific measures for the smooth conduct of JEE Main and NEET examinations.
While the two national-level tests will be held in six centres, eight places have been identified for the accommodation of outstation students, a BMC official said.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, a special COVID observer will be in charge of each accommodation centre.
Adequate sanitation facility will be ensured at each examination centre.
To ensure incident-free examination, people will be asked not to congregate near the centre.
Apart from this, a three-tier security arrangement will be put in place inside and outside of the centre and special police engaged for smooth traffic movement.
Besides, the BMC has also decided to keep an adequate number of auto-rickshaws near each centre to carry the students to their respective destinations after the examination.
The JEE examination is scheduled to be held between September 1 and 6 and NEET on September 13.
