Bhubaneswar COVID-19 Tally Crosses 2K; 78% New Cases Local Contacts; Toll Mounts To 80

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw another 326 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, which pushed the affected tally past 2000.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 70 are quarantine and 256 local contact cases.

The city has been reporting over 300 cases daily for the last several days.

The last 24 hours also saw four more COVID-19 deaths and 392 recoveries.

While the total infection touched 20219 on Friday, 16511 have been cured so far. Bhubaneswar now has 3612 active cases.
