Bhubaneswar: A girl allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping into Kuakhai river here as she was upset over the marital dispute between Ollywood actor and MP Anubhav Mohanty and actress Varsha Priyadarshini.
The girl is a resident of Macheswar locality here. She recently passed the +2 Arts examinations.
The girl was rescued by her elder brother and admitted to a private hospital in the city on Sunday.
According to sources, the girl is a fan of Varsha and was unhappy about the dispute between the actress and her husband.
After news of the discord broke out, the girl had even locked herself inside a room in her house and refused to eat.
