Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will conduct COVID-19 rapid antigen test of around 100 journalists, mostly reporters working in the field, on Wednesday.
According to sources, the test will be conducted at Saheed Nagar Kalyan Mandap.
BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary has personally laid emphasis on conducting the test considering their exposure, the sources added.
According to ICMR, those who test negative for COVID-19 by rapid antigen test should be definitely tested sequentially by RT-PCR to rule out infection, whereas a positive test should be considered as true positive and does not need reconfirmation by RT-PCR test.
