Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi Slams BJD Leader On COVID-19 Norm Violation

Bhubaneswar: BJP leader and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi on Friday took a swipe at the BJD leader Dibya Shankar Mishra for accusing her of violating the COVID-19 guidelines.

Speaking to mediapersons, Sarangi said, “A couple of days back, a minister of the state Cabinet and an MLA, who had tested positive for COVID-19, had participated in cremation of late Pradeep Maharathy at Swargadwar in Puri. I want to ask Mishra what was he doing at that time? Did he take up the matter with his two colleagues or did he write to the Chief Minister?”

The reaction of Sarangi came after Mishra wrote a letter to the Union minister of state for Home, Nityanand Rai seeking disciplinary action against her for violating the COVID-19 norms during her birthday celebration on October 8.
