Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital reported a record 64 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 704 on Sunday.
According to a Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweet, 36 of these have been detected in quarantine and the rest 28 are local contact cases.
The I & PR department had earlier tweeted about 76 cases being detected in Khurda district in the last 24 hours and a majority of these are from in Bhubaneswar.

“Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and these will be under active surveillance,” the post added.
On the other hand, 13 more patients have been cured of the infection in the city.
With 8 deaths and 327 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 368 active cases.
