Bhubaneswar Reports Less Than 50 New COVID-19 Cases For 2nd Day; No New Death

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw less than 50 fresh COVID-19 infections for the second consecutive day on Friday.

With 42 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, the affected tally went up to 30372. This is the lowest daily caseload in November so far.

The city had reported 46 new cases the previous day.

According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, nine of the new infections are quarantine and 33 local contacts.

The city also saw 56 more patients getting cured of the deadly disease. However, no new fatality was reported in the last 24 hours.

With 201 deaths and 29535 recoveries, the city now has 615 active cases.
