Bhubaneswar’s BGU Signs MoU With Institute of Finance Management, Tanzania

Bhubaneswar: Birla Global University (BGU), Bhubaneswar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The MoU, inked on Teacher’s Day, was signed by BGU Vice-Chancellor Prof. PP Mathur and IFM Rector Prof. Josephat Daniel Lotto.

IFM, a government institution for higher learning, was established in 1972 to provide training, research and consultancy in banking, insurance, social protection, taxation, accountancy and business-related disciplines.

The collaboration between the two institutions will promote international understanding, enhance scientific cooperation, and develop research and instruction in areas of common interest. The cooperation will also promote student and faculty exchange, collaborative conferences, research and other programmes that will benefit both institutions.
