Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw a further fall in daily COVID-19 cases on Sunday with 122 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
These are among the 158 cases detected in Khurda district.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Authority, 43 of the fresh infections are quarantine and 79 are local contact cases.
The highest of nine cases have been reported from Saheed Nagar, six from Shastri Nagar, five from Patrapada and three from Vani Vihar.
The city also saw 254 more patients recovering from the infection and two COVID-19 deaths.
With 152 deaths and 26149 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 2281 active cases.
