Bhubaneswar- Sky gazers are in for a treat as a rare astronomical phenomenon will be taking place this month.
The ‘parade of planets’ will see six planets — Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus — appearing in a line across the night sky, from January 21 to January 31.
Planets like Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn will align in a spectacular display that can be seen with naked eyes, while Neptune and Uranus will be visible only through binoculars and telescopes.
Necessary arrangements have been made at Bhubaneswar’s Pathani Samanta Planetarium, under Department of Science & Technology, to give stargazers an opportunity to witness this rare phenomenon.
Visitors can witness this rare event on all days, except Monday, from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
