Mumbai: Salman Khan has been hosting the television reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ since its fourth season.
The actor’s swag on the small screen and the way he schools inmates in the Bigg Boss house is quite entertaining and helps enhance TRPs for the show.
However, it has been learnt that Salman is going to be replaced by Ekta Kapoor and Rohit Shetty as hosts.
No need to worry for Salman fans, though. Ekta and Rohit will be hosting Bigg Boss 18 only for this weekend as the actor is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Sikander.’
Colors TV took to their Instagram handle on Wednesday to announce the new hosts.
Along with a video clip, Colors TV posted, “Dhamaake honge bahut bade iss baar, kyunki aa rahe hai kuch khaas mehmaan karne Weekend Ka Vaar. Dekhiye #BiggBoss18 Weekend Ka Vaar, Friday-Saturday raat 9:30 baje, sirf #colorstv aur @officialjiocinema par ((There will be some big explosions as some special guest would be doing Weekend Ka Vaar. Watch Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar, Friday-Saturday…9:30 PM only on Colors TV and JioCinema).”

Ekta, who witnessed the ugly fights and emotional breakdown of housemates, is impressed by all the drama. “Mujhe aise log pasand hai, jo dil me, wo hi zubaan par,” she says.
Other celebs who were seen as Bigg Boss hosts include Arshad Warsi (season 1), Shilpa Shetty (Season 2), Amitabh Bachchan (Season 3), Farah Khan (Halla Bol season), and Sanjay Dutt (co-host with Salman in Season 5).
Salman Khan is currently working in AR Murugadoss’s ‘Sikandar’ in Hyderabad’s Falaknuma Palace. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and is bankrolled by his friend Sajid Nadiadwala.
