Bihar DGP Alleges Patna IPS officer Probing Sushant Singh Rajput Case ‘forcibly quarantined’ in Mumbai
Mumbai: Bihar Director General of Police, Gupteshwar Pandey alleged on Sunday that senior IPS officer from Patna, Vinay Tiwari was “forcibly quarantined” by the civic authorities here. Tiwari was in the city in connection with a probe related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case.
Tiwari is leading a team of Bihar Police to probe into ‘abetment to suicide’ case on a complaint filed by the late actor’s father in the Bihar capital.
“IPS officer Vinay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 PM today,” Bihar (DGP) Pandey tweeted.

“He was not provided accommodation in the IPS mess, despite request, and was staying in a Guest House in Goregaon,” he said. Tiwari was posted as Patna’s City SP (East).
34-year-old Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling of his Bandra residence on June 24. Later, the deceased actor’s father filed an FIR against actress Rhea Chakraborty for abetment to suicide.
