Bihar Woman Accuses Husband From Odisha’s Balasore Of Duping Her, Files Police Complaint
Balasore: A woman from Bihar has accused a man from Odisha’s Balasore district of duping her after their marriage in Hyderabad.
The 22-year-old woman, in her complaint filed at Soro police station in the district, stated that while she was working in a restaurant in Hyderabad, the man joined there last year. While working in the hotel, the woman and the man, identified as Abhinash Parida of Sabira village under Soro police limits, fell in love with each other.
They got married in a temple in December last year and also had registered marriage in court later. Meanwhile, the woman got pregnant. A few days back, Abhinash left their house in Hyderabad without informing her. Despite her repeated attempts, she could not contact him over phone nor Abinash called her, she said.
She also alleged in the complaint that while leaving, Abinash had taken away her laptop, mobile phone, jewellery and Rs 60,000 in cash. Since she knew that her husband belonged to Soro, she came to the place to seek police help to trace him.
The police have registered a case and started investigation to locate Abinash. They have sent the woman to a correctional home, police sources said.
