Sundargarh: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) adviser Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo on Tuesday visited the Adarsha Vidyalaya at Talsankara in Sundargarh district and spent time with students.
In the evening, he had a meeting with Collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, District Education Officer, Block Education Officer, principals and officials of RD Department, Works Department and DMF.
They discussed completing the balance infrastructure and facilities, transport for children, girls and boys hostel construction, smart class, library, labs, sports and multifunctional auditorium at the school.
The focus was on how to make the Adarsha school in Sundargarh outstanding, sources said.
The founder of the SAI International School took charge as OAVS advisor in June last year and since then have been striving to position the Adarsha league of schools among the recognised brands in the country. Adarsha school is a dream project of the Naveen Patnaik government to provide quality education in far-flung and remote areas of the state.
