Cuttack: Two days after an employee of a petrol pump was shot and looted in Dhenkanal district, the worker of another filling station in Cuttack fell victim to bike-born looters on Thursday night.

According to sources, three persons came on a motorcycle to the petrol pump near Panchagaon village under Tigiria police station in Athagarh block to put the fuel in their bike. After getting the petrol, the bike rider paid the amount to an employee of the filling station.

At this time time, one of the pillion riders pulled out a gun and pointed it at the employee. While the employee could not know what to do, the miscreants snatched his cash bag and fled. The CCTV camera at the fuel station has captured the incident, the sources said.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and registered a case on the basis of the petrol pump owner’s complaint. But the fuel station owner and the employee could not confirm the exact amount of money looted by the miscreants.

In a similar incident on Tuesday, three bike-born miscreants looted Rs six lakh from an employee of a petrol pump under Dhenkanal Sadar police limits after shooting him.
