Mumbai: Sunny Deol had a special birthday ‘gift’ for his fans on Sunday.
The veteran actor unveiled the first look of his next film, ‘Gabru’, on the day he turned 68.
Sunny took to social media to share news of ‘Gabru’, which has Simran Bagga and Prit Kamani as his co-stars. The film will hit theatres on March 13, 2026.
Calling it a story of “courage, conscience, and compassion”, Sunny expressed gratitude to his fans for their support.
“Power isn’t what you show, it’s what you do! Thank you everyone for your love and blessings, here’s something for you all who have been waiting… #Gabru IN CINEMAS 13th March 2026. A story of courage, conscience, and compassion. From my heart… to the world!” Sunny wrote.

Presented by Om Chhangani and Echelon, ‘Gabru’ is written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar, the music is by Mithoon and lyrics by Sayeed Quadri.
Sunny Deol is also gearing up for Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film also stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles. Punjabi actor Sonam Bajwa recently joined the cast. The film is scheduled for release on January 22, 2026.
Sunny also shared a heartwarming video on Instagram, where he is seen celebrating his birthday and singing joyfully, with Punjabi music playing in the background and firecrackers bursting.
