BJD Appoints 30 Female Leaders As District In-Charges; Check Out The Details Here
Bhubaneswar: In a significant move, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday appointed female leaders as district in-charge of the State Women Committee to monitor organizational work in the districts.
The decision comes less than a month after the ruling party named 18 women to oversee organizational work in the state.
“In suppression of previous orders, women leaders of Biju Janata Dal are hereby appointed as district in-charge of the state Women Committee to monitor organizational work in the districts. This order comes into force with immediate effect,” BJD general secretary (Media affairs) Manas Ranjan Mangaraj said in a statement.
