Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday revamped its IT and Social Media cell with appointment of new members.
The party president Naveen Patnaik also approved a 13-member steering committee, a 15-member implementation committee in BJD IT & Social Media cells along with social media coordinators for zones and districts to strengthen its outreach, and connect more effectively with the people of the state by leveraging the expertise of its leaders across regions.
According to party insiders, these appointments, effective immediately, are aimed at streamlining digital campaigns, content creation, and influencer coordination at both the state and local levels. The steering and implementation committees will oversee cohesive planning and execution of digital strategies, while the zone and district IT coordinators will ensure localised engagement by tailoring content as per regional needs.
To improve its online visibility, campaign team and research team coordinators will lead data-driven campaigns and innovative content strategies.
The Appointments
General secretary (youth affairs) Amaresh Patri has been appointed as the co-convenor of BJD IT and Social Media cell. Jyoti Ranjan Jena has been appointed as the campaign team coordinator and Biswa Pratap Sahoo as research team coordinator. Krushnapriya Mishra and Lagnajit Mohanty have been assigned the role of content writer coordinators.
Rashmi Ranjan Choudhury and Umesh Sharma have been appointed as the state level and micro level influencer coordinators in party’s social media cell.
The steering committee includes senior leaders Prasanna Acharya, Pramilla Mallik, Pratap Jena, Snehangini Chhuria, Sulata Deo, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, Mahesh Sahoo, Pritiranjan Gharai, Tusarkanti Behera, Pranab Kumar Balabantaray, Byomakesh Ray, Debesh Acharya and Bhrugu Baxipatra.
The member of implementation Committee are Sulochana Das, Sunil Kumar Mohanty, Sarmishtha Sethi, LekhaShri Samantsinghar, Barsha Singh Bariha, Rudra Pratap Maharathy, Manmath Kumar Rautray, Abinash Samal, Bishnubrata Routray, Lenin Mohanty, Chinmayananda Shrirup Deb, Sushri Ranjita Sahu, Chinmaya Kumar Sahoo, Ipsita Sahu and Swayamprakash Mohapatra.
