Nabarangpur: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi sustained minor injuries when the car carrying him met with an accident near Unerkote area on Nabarangpur district.
As per reports, the driver of his car and another person were also injured after the vehicle skidded off the road. following a tyre burst late on Saturday night.
As per reports, the accident took place when Majhi was returning home via Raipur after conclusion of the budget session of Parliament.
While the exact reason behind the accident is not yet clear, the driver of the car was stated to have lost control over the wheels after a tyre of the vehicle reportedly burst.
The driver and the PSO of the MP also sustained minor injuries in the accident. The three were provided with medical treatment at the Community Health Center (CHC) at Umerkote.
