Deogarh: BJP leader and Deogarh MLA Subash Chandra Panigrahi and two of his associates, who were arrested on charges of assaulting the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Tileibani, were granted conditional bail on Saturday.
The District & Sessions Judge court in Deogarh granted bail to the BJP MLA on furnishing a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Panigrahi and two of his supporters, Akalu Dhal and Kumarmani Sahoo, were arrested for allegedly assaulting Tileibani BDO Krushna Chandra Dalapati at Bhaliaguda village on April 30.
