BJP MLA Takes A Jibe At Party’s Training Camp In Odisha’s Puri
Puri: BJP Legislator Jayant Sarangi on Thursday took a jibe at the ongoing three-day training camp of his party in Odisha’s Puri.
Speaking to the media persons on the last day of the training camp, Puri MLA said, “Nobody can counsel us on what to do for the people. I am always close to the voters and have never distanced myself from them. I do not need to be given sermon on the matter.”
Stating that he has been working for the party from the grassroots level, he said he is always in service of the people. “I work for 18 hours a day to attend to the people who approach me. I am looking into people’s problems at panchayat and municipality level on daily basis.”
“I am a trained and disciplined member of the party and do not need to be trained on service to people. I have been elected as councillor of Puri Municipality several times, held chairman post of different organisations and now working as an MLA,” Sarangi added.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vasinaw, former minister Radhamohan Singh and senior leader of the party BL Santosh will speak at the training camp on its last day on Thursday, said BJP’s Odisha president Jaynarayan Mishra.
