Bhubaneswar: National president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda, who is scheduled to come to Odisha on a two-day visit this month, will address public meetings at two places.
Speaking to media in Bhubaneswar on Friday, state BJP general secretary Lekhashree Samantsinghar said Nadda will arrive on December 28. He will hold meeting with the state party leaders and workers during the visit.
As per the programme, Nadda is scheduled to visit Kandhamal and Puri Parliamentary constituencies and address public meetings there, said Samantsinghar.
This will be Nadda’s second visit to Odisha after taking over the party’s top post in 2019. During his visit in September, the BJP president addressed panchayat-level party workers in Bhubaneswar and called upon the people of Odisha to bring a ‘double engine BJP sarkar’ in the state by overthrowing BJD, whose rule is mired in corruption.
Nadda began his 120-day nationwide pravas on December 5 from Uttarakhand and has been touring all states to further strengthen the party organisation at regional level.
