BJP To Make Reports Of 24 Commissions Public After Forming Govt In Odisha, Says KV Singhdeo

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader of Odisha KV Singhdeo on Sunday said his party would make the reports of 24 commissions of inquiry formed in the last 25 years after it forms government in the state on June 4.

Speaking to media persons in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, the former state BJP president expressed confidence that the BJP is heading for winning majority of seats in this election. The party would complete fulfil all the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during campaigning in Odisha.

Alleging that the BJD had suppressed the reports of 24 commissions of inquiry during its last 24-year continuous rule, Singhdeo said the state government had not revealed the reports nor acted upon it. But BJP would make those public once it come to power, he added.

“As promised by the Prime Minister, our government will open Ratna Bhandar (strong room) of Jagannath temple in Puri and reveal its contents within 3 months of formation of the government,” he said.

Singhdeo further said the BJP would expose all the scams during the BJD rule. It would take action on the mining scam and ensure punishment to those found guilty. “In ponzi scam also, the BJP government will take steps to return the money to the duped investors. Besides, it will expose Rs 300 crore corpus fund announced by the BJD to return money to the investors,” he added.
