Kolkata: BJP will start ‘Aar Noy Anyay’ (No more injustice) public outreach campaign in West Bengal from December 5 to counter the ruling Trinamool Congress’ ‘Duare Sarkar’ (Government at doorsteps) programme.
State BJP president Dilip Ghosh claimed that the state BJP’s target is to reach over 1 crore families across the state and highlight alleged corruption and tyrannical rule of the Mamata Banerjee government.
“It is difficult to gauge whether Duare Sarkar is a Trinamool Congress party programme or state government’s programme as the chief minister announced it at an administrative meeting,” alleged Ghosh. “They have made videos of the developmental work they have done to influence the people. But the people of the state are not fools… We will start Aar Noy Anyay from December 5 to inform people about the true face of the ruling TMC government,” the Midnapore MP said at a press conference.
Upping the ante, Ghosh alleged that the sanitizers and masks that the state government had distributed to the public are not upto the mark and also that it has been brought from a particular company for reasons obvious.
“Corruption is there in the TMC at every step. Money laundering is nothing new for them. The sanitizers and the masks that they have given to people are of extremely poor quality,” alleged Ghosh.
With the Trinamool Congress administration having launched its massive outreach programme on Tuesday — to ensure people avail of the benefits of 11 state-run welfare schemes – the battle for the 2021 assembly elections is surely hotting up.
