Prayagraj: Quick commerce service is getting upgraded at a rapid pace as companies look to out-think each other with more and more innovative business ideas.
What was thought to be impossible is becoming a reality.
Blinkit has come up with the latest out-of-the-box idea by extending its service at the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj.
In what is said to be the world’s largest religious congregation, Blinkit has started a temporary store to cater to the needs of pilgrims and tourists.
The 100 square foot store will be stocked with essential items and deliver to key areas such as Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, Devrakh, and other prominent locations of the event,” Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa posted on X on Friday, along with a picture of the store.
Items available at the store include pooja essentials, milk, curd, fruits, vegetables (for consumption and donations), chargers, power banks, towels, blankets, bedsheets and also bottles containing Triveni Sangam Jal (water).
Mahakumbh Mela, which is taking place after a gap of 144 years, commenced on January 13 and will conclude on February 26. Over 50 crore devotees are expected to visit the event.
