While releasing Unlock- 6.0 guidelines on Saturday, the state government authorised the local administration to take the decision on reopening the religious institutions.

Speaking to mediapersons, Chaudhary said opinions of all religious institutions and general public will be taken for reopening of temples, mosques and churches. Though the number of positive cases has dropped in the city in the last couple of days, over 100 cases are reported everyday. The decision will be taken keeping this in view, he added.

Stating that 100 to 200 guests will now be allowed during marriage, they have to follow the COVID-19 guidelines, Chaudhary said.
